Flo Rida refuses to visit his sick son, calls the 19-month-old an evil child

American rapper Flo Rida is being accused of being a horrible father and abandoning his son who has a serious brain disease.

Flo Rida’s baby mama Alexis Adams, 34, claims that the rapper has refused to visit his 19-month-old son Zohar Paxton. He pays for Zohar’s medical insurance and court-mandated child support but that’s where it ends. He has only met his sick son once and his attitude towards the child on that day was cold.

Alexis said: “Flo Rida has only seen his son once during the paternity test but kept his shades on and his back turned. They were in the same room. He didn’t try to hug Zohar, nothing. It was very cold.”

Alexis also said Flo Rida has strong negative feelings towards his son. She added: “He called my baby ‘an evil f***ing child’. Those were his exact words.”

Zohar has hydrocephalus, a neurological condition which causes an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within cavities in the brain. Since birth, Zohar has had numerous doctors’ appointments, tests, and ultrasounds for the incurable condition.

Last month, he underwent brain surgery, but there was no visit or phone call from his father, Alexis said.

She said: “Even after Zohar’s surgery, he hasn’t reached out to find out if he’s okay. I find it strange because Flo Rida is always involved in charities pertaining to kids.”

Rapper T.I. was arrested early Wednesday morning outside of the gated community where he resides after he was involved in a dispute with a security.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said T.I. was cited on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an alleged incident about 4 a.m. in Stockbridge, Georgia.

According to local reports, the rapper whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr. was trying to get to his house Wednesday morning around 4 AM — but didn’t have his key.  T.I. and a friend argued with the guard at the security shack, as he wouldn’t let them in and things got heated.

Police were later called to the scene, and he was arrested.

T.I who has since been released without bail was pictured smiling in his mug shot.

Bukola Saraki accuses IGP, Idris Ibrahim of plotting to implicate him

The faceoff between the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, and the senate has taken a new dimension with the senate president today accusing the police boss of planning to implicate him.

 

Recall that the senate and Idris have been at loggerheads following the latter’s refusal to honor the former’s invitation to answer questions on Dino Melaye’s arrest and the killings happenig in different parts of the country.

 

Saraki during plenary this morning, told his collegues that his state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state, gave him the information about the IG’s plan.

 

He said the IGP has ordered that some suspected cultists arrested in Illorin should be taken to Abuja where their statements will be altered to implicate him and the state government.

“Last night, my state governor, revealed to me an information at his disposal that a group of suspects who have been arrested in our state for cultism, whose investigation has been completed and were about to be under prosecution under the state law on the advise of the ministry of justice, all of a sudden were ordered to be transferred to Abuja this morning. The information reaching him from the commissioner of police that they have been directed by IGP to bring them to Abuja. With the information that he has, they would find how to alter their statement already made in Ilorin and try and implicate the state government and particularly myself. I feel that as we speak now, these suspects are already here in Abuja.

“These acts I don’t know whether to call it desperation or intimidation, all actions to undermine our democracy, a recipe for anarchy because we are doing our work by asking officials to obey the law, due process and subject themselves to constituted authority. I think it is important to call your attention to this dangerous development. The impunity happeneing in this country is a danger to our democracy.” he said

Piers Morgan viciously lashes out at Meghan Markle’s sister on live TV for attacking the royal bride-to-be, calls her a “little vulture”

TV personality Piers Morgan has viciously lashed out at Samantha Markle for constantly attacking her half-sister Meghan Markle in public.

While hosting Good Morning Britain, Piers, in a furious tirade, slammed Samantha for being a “media vulture”. His anger stemmed from Samantha’s attempt to blame the media for her father’s current predicament.

Samantha Markle appeared on Good Morning Britain today via videolink and when hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid asked how her father was, she attempted to blame the media for his ill health.

Samantha claimed responsibility for her father’s staged paparazzi shots but insisted that it was not “money motivated”. She claimed that her dad had wanted to improve his media image.

She said: “I spoke to him early in the morning yesterday and he was quite depressed over a series of events involving the media.”

At this, Piers got angry and branded her hypocritical.

He angrily pointed out: “You have said a number of shabby things about Meghan.”

“I have said lovely things about her but I was honest about the situation,” she responded.

But Piers went on to question how much money she had made after Meghan’s engagement was announced. Samantha insisted that she had not made “much” and that she would do one interview and publications would “twist and embellish” what she had said. She claimed that she had done “five or six” interviews and hit out at “media vultures”.

 

Piers became furious at that and said: “There’s no bigger media vulture than you… you’ve been trashing her for years you little vulture.”

Samantha tried to defend herself but Piers brought up her tell-all book titled Princess pushy and said to her, “It’s pretty rich from you to blame the media for being vultures.”

Court grants Dino Melaye N10m bail

Justice Nasiru Ajanah of the Kogi State High Court sitting in Lokoja has granted bail to embattled Senator Dino Melaye, in the sum of N10million. The judge granted Melaye bail in his ruling on the application today May 16th based on the lawmaker’s health challenge. He said the medical report of the lawmaker presented to him is a merit factor to grant the bail application.

 

Asides the N10m, Melaye is expected to provide a surety in like sum and also the surety must tender his/her international passport to the court.

Melaye is being charged by the police for allegedly arming deadly criminal gangs and convening a political rally that ended with the death of at least one attendee.

 

In a related development, a Kogi State High Court yesterday struck out the charges filed against five persons who were accused of an assassination attempt on the life of the embattled senator last year.

 

Melaye had approached the court with allegations that the five persons including the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, Taofiq Isa, had attempted to take his life. The judge yesterday struck out the case on the grounds that the prosecutors have so far shown great unwillingness and unpreparedness to present their witnesses despite four adjournment .

Inspiring story of woman who resolved to build her own house after herman, who she built with, left her for another soon after their house was completed

A Nigerian woman resolved to become successful in her own right and build her house after she was abandoned by the man she built with.

Blogger Okoro Blessing Nkeiruka took to her Instagram page to share her story. She said she always prayed for her man’s success above hers and, as a result of her prayers and support, her man moved from living in his father’s house to building a 1-bedroom flat in his father’s compound, and from that to building a 3-bedroom apartment.

She said she couldn’t wait to live in the new house and dreamt of what life would be like in the house. But she never lived in it. As soon as it was completed, her boyfriend separated from her.

When begging didn’t change his mind, she vowed to succeed in her own right and build her house. Today, she has completed a 2-storey building consisting of 6 flats for rent.

She went on to advise women to ensure they don’t forget to build themselves while building with a man.

Sharing a photo of her new building, she wrote:

Let me share this to inspire you …..
I was once like you, that little girl with no dreams.
But I grew up so fast because of my early experience in life .
Once upon a time when all I did was pray for a man to be successful but never prayed for my self, maybe because I believed that some things are meant just for the men .
I met my ex in his room right in his fathers house, I prayed for him and he built a 1 bed room flat in his family compound. The family compound got so hot for me and I prayed again and begged God to give us a bigger place so we can move and he started completing his 3 bed room apartment.
I had so much hope , so happy I will have a big kitchen and a compound to myself , could not wait to have my room, as we went to inspect the place during weekends .
But guess what ?, I never lived in that house, we separated before he finished . I even went back to beg him because I felt cheated and felt another woman will come and enjoy my sweat but he did not want again.
People suggested juju for me , some suggested prophet, and some said they will take me to Ibadan were they will make him come back to me so I can go back and enjoy my sweat ? but I had a powerful mom , God bless her . She told me, NKIRUKA, listen to me, there is nothing your ex have that you can not have only if u work hard .
I took my mums advise and started my journey to succeed.

”You’re not the only incorrupt Nigerian” House of Reps speaker, Yakubu Dogara tells President Buhari

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, yesterday told President Buhari that he is not the only incorrupt Nigerian. According to Dogara, there are many Nigerians like President Buhari that stand against corruption.

 

While speaking at the commissioning of the new EFCC Headquarters in Abuja, Dogara said

“The fact that we have seated here, before us a president whose global acclaim has been corrupt-free, I can tell you that he is not alone in Nigeria. There are millions of Nigerians, that we come across day by day, that are corrupt-free. There is a representation of history. A prophet cried to God that said he was the only one that has not bowed his knees to Baal, but God replied to that prophet that He has reserved in that city, people who have not bowed their knees to Baal. There are millions of Nigerians that have not bowed their knees to the god of corruption and that fact must be emphasized,” .

Wife of Ghana’s Vice President Samira Bawumia says she wants to be judged by her work, not her choice of clothes

Wife of Ghana’s Vice President Samira Bawumia, has said social media critics should be more concerned about how she is using her position to impact the lives of others rather than her choice of clothes.

Mrs Bawumia since the inauguration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 7, 2016, has been an attraction at many public events with her fashion.

She has been criticised by some people who feel her choice of clothing do not reflect her religious leanings as a Muslim and her position as wife of the Vice President.

But in an interview on Accra-based Citi FM Wednesday, Mrs Bawumia noted that instead of paying attention to her wardrobe; she wished that people would rather focus on her work.

“I wish it wouldn’t be the preoccupation…because I’m doing a lot of work that I will rather highlight. I mean if a woman is dressing well there shouldn’t be anything wrong with that. I think we should own our beauty and also make a difference,” she said.

She also noted that her choice of wardrobe is also promoting the business for those who make them and that is something that excites her.

“Sometimes I wear clothes and those who made it for me, their business booms and I’m happy for them because I’m also promoting their industry.”

Nonetheless, she says, such comments only become a bother when they tend to spite her.

“I worry slightly about how sometimes the discourse goes because this politics turns to be sometimes a little vicious. I don’t mind for my own personal saying because if someone I don’t know has an opinion about me [that’s] tough; but I worry about the people I know and how they feel about my interaction with them and for the most time I get a positive response,” she said

D’Banj: Run us through the journey so far.

 

Herbert: I always knew I wanted to do something interesting, something different, hence my fascination with accounting, and by extension, banking. My mantra is ‘if you do it well, you’ll do well in life’. I believe Access Bank is still in its early stages, having spread across Africa, Europe and Asia, sooner than people know, ‘Access Bank will be the world’s most respected African bank, and everybody will see it.

 

D’Banj: With so much success, what makes you happy?

 

Herbert: My joy is hinged on the success of my team, mentees and family. My greatest joy is seeing my guys (the Access Bank team) do well. I am happy when my team is happy. My family and my children bring me so much joy and they are the reason why I work hard. I believe with my knack in ensuring my team succeeds, Access Bank is headed for the top and will be a global institute.

 

D’Banj: Run us through your typical day.

 

Herbert: I wake up by 5am every day and the first thing I do is say my prayers, as prayers are very important. I eventually leave the house by 6am to start my daily activities. I also go to the Bank’s gym at least four times a week to keep fit.

 

D’Banj: What’s a typical day like for the you at Access Bank?

 

Herbert: Once I get into my office, the first thing I do is check my emails from customers, to ensure that there are no issues, because my customers are my priority. Then I go ahead to do other activities like meetings.

 

D’Banj: What is Access Bank doing for young people?

 

Herbert: Access Bank is all about young people, we keep finding ways to support things young people are most interested in, like we have done with the ‘Nolly Fund’ which is geared towards supporting Nollywood – Nigeria’s movie industry. Access Bank is also present in almost every university in Nigeria, this is our way of giving young people a unique banking experience.

 

D’Banj: Why did you leave GT Bank for Access Bank?

 

Herbert: I can draw some similarities with D’Banj’s story of leaving Mo’Hits. Leaving wasn’t due to any disagreement, but a need for the creation of an oasis.

 

D’Banj: This is my personal question. Will Access Bank sponsor the #MoHitsReUnion show in December?

 

Herbert: This will be a yes because you were missed at the #MavinConcert – sponsored by Access Bank in 2015 – and I am on board 1,000 % to sponsor the MoHits reunion concert.

 

D’Banj: What football club do you support?

 

Herbert: There was a time when I used to support football teams, until I realised I was too emotional to participate actively in that endeavour, I remember one time when Arsenal lost to Manchester United and I was so heartbroken by it that I was not able to function properly the next day, so I decided that I wasn’t going to support any team.

The only team I support is the Super eagles because I am very patriotic.

 

To wrap it up, Herbert asked D’Banj a few questions about how married life has been so far, it was an exciting interview between the two kings, where they spoke about everything from the future of Access Bank to Mo’Hits, the music industry and lots more.
