Djokovic eyes seventh Australian open title

The sun may be setting on a golden era of men’s tennis, but Novak Djokovic’s star still burns bright as he returns to Melbourne Park in search of a record seventh Australian Open title.

The doubt-stricken player with a dodgy elbow, who exited early from the last two Melbourne tournaments, has since been replaced by the world-beating Djokovic of old.

Yet the Serb also brings a wiser, harder edge after coming through a period of personal and physical anguish, and breaking a two-year drought at the Grand Slams last year.

The same cannot be said for his ‘Big Four’ cohorts, who have become progressively worn down by injuries and time, after dominating the majors for much of the past decade.

A teary-eyed Andy Murray signaled the Australian Open could be his last professional tournament on Friday, with the pain of his right hip proving unbearable.

Grave fitness fears also shadow 32-year-old Rafa Nadal, the 17-times Grand Slam champion, who pulled out of the Brisbane International warm-up with a thigh strain and had his 2018 season cut short by a string of various injuries.

The struggles of Murray and Nadal make the longevity of double-defending champion Roger Federer all the more miraculous, and even at 37, he may still be the best equipped player to derail the Djokovic train.

Yet, with respect to the Swiss master, 20-times Grand Slam champion Federer swiped the last two Melbourne titles while Djokovic was in the doldrums.

Following his wins at Wimbledon and the US Open, the top-seeded Serb is heavily favored to seal a third successive Grand Slam title and reclaim a tournament he has virtually owned throughout his career.

Djokovic was only 21 when he upset the defending champion Federer in the 2008 semi-finals, then beat Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in four sets to muscle into a Grand Slam club that had become a duopoly between the Swiss and Nadal.

He has hosted the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup five times since, including a hat-trick of titles from 2011-13, all roared on by Melbourne’s big Serbian community.

The world number one suffered a small hiccup in his preparations, upset by Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut in the semi-finals at the Qatar Open.

But he has the luxury of easing into Melbourne against a qualifier before a possible rematch of the 2008 final against French wildcard Tsonga.

On the other side of the draw, sentimentalists will hope third seed Federer and world number two Nadal can grind it out to the semi-finals and reignite the sport’s most cherished rivalry.

Others will hope for a long-awaited breakthrough from the next generation after Federer, Nadal and Djokovic hogged all the Grand Slams last year.

Fourth seed Alexander Zverev might seem the man most likely, having again proved the better of the game’s titans with his victory at the season-ending ATP Tour Finals.

However, the 21-year-old talent’s quarter-final appearance at the French Open last year is his sole appearance in the last eight at a Grand Slam.

He has yet to convince he has the grit and temperament to go the distance in seven matches.

Real Madrid suffer consequences of selling Ronaldo

Juventus are reaping the benefits of having a five-time Ballon d’Or winner in his prime while the club he left behind struggle for goals and points

Whether it was arrogance, misplaced faith or just outright stupidity, Real Madrid’s decision to let Cristiano Ronaldo leave for Juventus last summer must surely rank as one of football’s worst decisions in history.

It is clear now, more than halfway through the season, that Madrid have nothing like the firepower required to carry them through this, a season of transition, while Ronaldo continues to rack up the goals in Italy.

Madrid might well have banked €100m for Ronaldo, no small fee for a 33-year-old, but no money could possibly replace what has been taken away. Last season they finished 17 points adrift of Barcelona, by the end of this one they will be begging to be that close.

 

Had they got an adequate replacement then this debate might well be moot. But the fact is that there isn’t a football player alive capable of delivering what Ronaldo delivered for Real. And in a year when they also lost their talismanic coach Zinedine Zidane, the sanctioning of his sale is proving to be catastrophic.

Without a Galactico arrival like Neymar or Kylian Mbappe, they got Mariano Diaz from Lyon instead. He chose the No. 7 shirt to demonstrate that he would be leading a new era at the Santiago Bernabeu. He will do well to score that number of league goals this season.

But all looked rosy in the garden at the start of the season when a more democratic-looking Madrid attack was scoring from all angles and giving Julen Lopetegui the positive start he needed as Madrid coach.

His methods were working well; Karim Benzema’s goal scoring pace picked up. Gareth Bale, finally liberated from the shadow of Ronaldo, became a key component in the line-up and thrived as the main man.

But Madrid’s downturn in form eventually accounted for Lopetegui. Without Ronaldo’s goals they had nowhere to turn once Benzema’s form evaporated and Bale again became injured.

 

Often derided as a flat-track bully, Ronaldo’s prodigious scoring feats were missed in matches Madrid should have been winning handsomely. It’s one thing complaining that Ronaldo only scores in the easy matches, it’s another thing altogether when those so-called easy matches roll around and there is nobody to put the ball in the net with any sort of consistency.

In the Champions League as well as La Liga, Madrid have come up well short. They have scored only 26 goals in their 18 league matches to date. Barcelona, top of the division, have scored almost twice that number on 50.

Unbelievably they are right now sitting outside the Champions League places. There is the very real possibility that unless they win a fourth title in a row, they won’t even be back in the Champions League next season.

What a calamity that would be and a self-imposed one at that.

No one is denying that Madrid were due an overhaul. The president Florentino Perez and general director Jose Angel Sanchez have long since recognised that need. That is why there has been a drastic reduction in the average age of transfer targets with young starlets like Marco Asensio, Theo Hernandez, Dani Ceballos, Alvaro Odriozola, Vinicius Jr and most recently Brahim Diaz coming in.

Madrid’s Champions League core one day will have to be broken up and that is understandable. A result of that will be the elimination from the first team of players like Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and more of the senior corps. But Ronaldo should have been the last of that group to go and not the first.

They have shown that they can survive the loss of Ramos or Modric. Indeed both have been horrifically out of form this season and should take time to analyse their own contributions. Meanwhile, Ronaldo is still going strong. He has demonstrated that it doesn’t matter who is managing him, who his team-mates are or what league he’s playing in, he will get the goals. He is currently top scorer of Serie A with 14 goals and has also provided an impressive five assists.

His form would have been crucial for Madrid to navigate their way through the pain of this transition season. While they replenished the team elsewhere, the one thing they could have counted on was Ronaldo’s ability to find the net and buy them some wiggle room no matter what was going on elsewhere in the club.

 

Sure, it was not a pretty sale in the end. Sure, there were complications.

Ronaldo was patently unhappy the year before with Madrid’s role – or lack thereof – in his conviction for tax fraud. He wanted a bigger pay cheque, understandable given his status as totem and all-time top scorer. It’s been reported that Perez held out and held out and held out until Ronaldo’s bluff was called and he actually did take his leave from the Bernabeu.

He is right to feel aggrieved that his salary was not high enough. Given the sums involved in the Neymar contract at Paris Saint-Germain, a player who does not have half of the pedigree of Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was of course entitled to ask for more.

He didn’t get it because Perez didn’t believe it was value for money.

How costly an error. How foolish an error.

Juventus are riding the crest of a wave; they are breaking records left, right and centre in Serie A and so is Ronaldo.

No Madrid player has managed more than seven league goals this season and that is pitiful. Ronaldo has double that amount.

This could well go down as the most catastrophic season in the modern history of the club. It didn’t have to be like this. They should have believed, should have trusted and should have paid Ronaldo. The biggest mistake in all of this is that they underestimated him. And for a club that for so long put out the idea that he was the best player in the world, that is unforgivable.

Now they know the cost.

INEC releases 7 voting procedures Nigerians must undergo for 2019 election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has highlighted the voting procedures for the 2019 General Elections.

 

The following are the steps as stated by INEC:

Step 1: Upon arrival at the polling unit, joins the queue and present yourself to the INEC official (APO111) at the polling unit who will determine whether you are at the correct polling unit and check if the photograph on the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) matches your face. If satisfied, he/she will direct you to the next INEC official (APO1).

Step 2: The official (APO1) will request for your PVC to confirm that your card is genuine and your details, using the smart card reader. He/she will ask you to place your finger on the card reader to confirm that the PVC belongs to you by ascertaining, the card reader will contains the name, photograph and finger prints of all those registered in their polling unit.

Step 3: You will then meet the next official (APO11) who will request for your PVC to confirm that your name and details are in the voters register. Your name will be ticked and your PVC returned to you. He/ she will then apply indelible ink to the cuticle of your appropriate finger for that election to show you have been accredited to vote. (If your name is not found on the register, you will not be allowed to vote).

Step 4: The presiding officer (PO) stamps, signs and endorses the date at the back of the Ballot Paper. The PO will roll the ballot paper inwardly with the printed side inwards and give to you. He /she will then direct you to the voting cubicle where you vote in secret.

Step 5: You will stain your appropriate finger for the election with the ink provided then use your stained finger to mark the space or box provided on the ballot paper for your preferred candidate/party. Roll the marked ballot paper (in the manner the PO gave to you).

Step 6: Then leave the voting cubicle and drop the ballot paper in the ballot box in full view of people at the polling unit.

Step 7: You will then leave the polling unit or wait if you so choose in an orderly and peaceful manner to work the process up to declaration of result.

N.B. The result of each polling unit shall be pasted at the unit and for everyone to see.”

American Actress and talk show host, Whoopi Goldberg has announced that her daughter’s dog – Filmore Dean is getting married to a fellow French Bulldog, Instagram star Izzy Hendrix on Saturday.

The  63-year-old veteran actress confirmed that the wedding will take place tomorrow in New York City.

‘Heads up! There’s a wedding in the family!!! My granddog is getting hitched!! What has the world come to? Lol,’ she hilariously captioned the post.

According to TMZ, Whoopi’s daughter Alex Martin-Dean’s pup Filmore met Izzy (aka Izzy The Frenchie) after Izzy’s owner Rick Hendrix worked with Whoopi for Hilary Clinton’s campaign.

The website reported that the families came up with the marriage idea after ‘hanging out over the holidays’.

Troops arrest wanted Boko Haram terrorist in Borno

The Nigerian Army has arrested a wanted Boko Haram member, Babagana Abubakar (aka Alagarno) at Bulabulim Ngarnam community on the outskirt of Maiduguri.

Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, the army spokesman, said in a statement on Friday that Abubakar was arrested in a room in a house, where he was hiding in the community.

Two military ballistic helmets, a pair of military desert boot, a fragment jacket, a Jersey pull over, military backpack, camouflage design shorts, two voters identification cards, National identification card, amulets, camouflage T-shirts and a military jungle hat, were recovered from the terrorist.

“He has since been moved out of the area for further interrogation,” the army spokesman said.

Usman said combined troops of 195 Battalion, Mobile Policemen and Civilian Joint Task Force -CJTF, nabbed the suspect on Thursday.

R. Kelly’s estranged daughter breaks silence on sex abuse scandal, refers to him as a ”monster”

Buku Abi, who is the estranged daughter of R.Kelly, has joined in condemning the singer following allegations.

The musician, who was born by Andrea Lee, R. Kelly’s ex-wife, took to her Instagram Stories to talk about her father’s sex abuse scandal in a lengthy post.

She wrote:

Buku here. I just want to say a few things… Before I start I just want it to be known that I am speaking from the heart, nothing I say or do not say is to hurt ANY party reading this or affected by this.

To the people that feel I should be speaking up/against everything that is going on right now. I just want you all to understand that devastated is an understatement for all that I feel currently.

I do apologize if my silence to all that is happening comes off as careless.  That is my last intention. I pray for all the families & women who have been affected by my father’s actions. Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this.

However, It has been very difficult to process it all. Let alone gather all the right words to express everything I feel.

Anyone that knows me personally or has been following me throughout the years knows that I do not have a relationship with my father. Nor do I speak on him or on his behalf. I also am not fond of dealing with my personal issues or personal life through social media but, I feel things are starting to get out of hand.

Unfortunately, for my own personal reasonings & for all my family has endured in regards to him, his life decisions and his last name, it has been years since my siblings and I have seen or have spoken to him.

In regards to my mother, she for the same reasonings and more, has not seen or spoken to my father in years. My mother, siblings and I would never condone, support or be a part of ANYTHING negative he has done and or continues to do in his life.

Going through all I have gone through in my life, I would never want anyone to feel the pain I have felt.

Reminders of how terrible my father is, and how we should be speaking up against him, rude comments about my family, fabricating me, my siblings & our mothers ‘part’ etc. Does not help my family (Me, my sister, my brother, and my mother) in our healing process. Nor does it allow a safe space for other victims who are scared to speak up, speak up.

The same monster you all confronting me about is my father.

I am well aware of who and what he is.  I grew up in that house. My choice to not speak on him and what he does is for my peace of mind. My emotional state. And for MY healing. I have to do & move in a manner that is best for me. I pray anyone who reads this understands I put nothing but good intent behind each word.

 

Buku added that it took her “nearly 3 days to write this.”

She continued:

I just want everyone to know that I do care and I love you all. This is a very difficult subject to speak on… again, I apologize if my words don’t come out right…

It has emerged that the richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos sent shirtless selfies, a photo of his genitals, steamy text messages and more to married Lauren Sanchez while they carried on an eight month affair that sometimes saw them hook up in both their marital homes, in hotels and in private jets.

The relationship between Amazon billionaire and his mistress, TV host Lauren Sanchez, has been going on long before Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie decided to divorce.

Jeff, 54, and Lauren’s relationship involved private jet rendezvous, intimate dinners and sleepovers at each other’s marital homes, it has been claimed. They also stayed in hotels together, including one in Boston hours after the rest of the Bezos family had left the hotel.

It was claimed the family was in town to attend Bezos’ son’s graduation from MIT. While they were at the ceremony, Sanchez, it is claimed, was put in a room in the same hotel where they were occupying a private suite. Once the family left, Bezos is reported to have stayed and loved-in with Sanchez until the following day.

The National Enquirer magazine followed the love birds for four months after snapping Lauren Sanchez and her sister getting off Bezos’ private jet in October. The Enquirer claims that Bezos only announced his divorce on Wednesday morning because he knew they were about to expose his affair with Sanchez.

The magazine also alleges that Jeff Bezos desperately tried to stop them from running its series of photographs which document their affair, and he even asked one friend: ‘Can’t I buy the story from them?’

 

 

MacKenzie, Jeff Bezos’ wife of 25 years, uncovered the affair between her husband and Lauren Sanchez when she looked at her husband’s plane’s flight manifest and found Sanchez’s name was the only one on the passenger list.

According to the Enquirer’s sources, Bezos is ‘in love’ with Sanchez and has told her:

We don’t have to worry about the parachute opening because we are jumping together.

We are sharing the parachute and it will land safely. We have chosen each other.

 

It was also revealed that asides meeting in each other’s homes, Bezos once booked a private bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel for them to spend the night in just five blocks from his marital mansion.

It has also emerged that the pair exchanged steamy text messages, dating back to April last year. Bezos sent raunchy text messages to Sanchez, who is married to Hollywood mega agent Patrick Whitesell and has three children (two with him and one from a previous relationship with an NFL star).

In one, he reportedly told the 49-year-old:

 

I love you, alive girl.  I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.

 

In another, National Enquirer claims he said:

 

I want to smell you, I want to breathe you in. I want to hold you tight.… I want to kiss your lips…. I love you. I am in love with you.

 

 

 

Others are more X-rated including one where he is said to have told the former TV host:

 

I miss you. I want to kiss you right now and tuck you in slowly and gently.

And maybe in the morning wake you up and not be quite so gentle with you.

 

In another, he allegedly said:

 

Your energy and ideas and competence and SPIRIT turn me on. You make me better. You’re meant for me.

 

Another is said to have read:

 

I am so full of love for you. My heart is growing just so it can have room for you.

It’s bigger than it’s ever been and still swelling.

 

Other remarks he reportedly made to her include:

 

I want to hold you tight.… I want to kiss your lips…. I love you. I am in love with you.

You know what I want? I want to get a little drunk with you tonight. Not falling down. Just a little drunk. I want to talk to you and plan with you. Listen and laugh … I basically WANT TO BE WITH YOU!!! Then I want to fall asleep with you and wake up tomorrow and read the paper with you and have coffee with you.

 

In addition to shirtless photographs he took standing in front of mirrors, including one in a steamy room where the magazine claims he was wearing just a towel, he also sent Sanchez an ‘unsparing’ photograph of his genitals which it said was too graphic to publish.

It was previously reported that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez didn’t start dating until they were both separated from their spouses. But National Enquirer says they had been dating since June, months before Lauren separated from her husband, Hollywood mega-agent Patrick Whitesell, and nine months before Bezos announced his split from his wife, MacKenzie, on Twitter.

It is believed that Lauren Sanchez met Jeff Bezos through her husband Patrick. Sources tell The Enquirer that the affair has ‘blindsided’ Sanchez’s husband Patrick.

Beyonce’s dad recently granted an interview where he explained why his daughter, Beyonce, and the rest of the Destiny’s child group were prevented from working closely with R. Kelly.

Matthew Knowles explained during the interview that he and his ex wife Tina had to watch the girls of Destiny’s Child like a hawk and even had to escort them to the toilet while they were working in R. Kelly’s studio.

He then shared a screenshot on his Instagram page and told his followers that the interview details how he feels about R. Kelly. He also asked them to leave their opinions in the comments section. And they sure did!

 

 

Some called him out and told him that while he was protecting his daughters from R. Kelly, they ended up marrying men as old as or older than R. Kelly.

Others told him that he was so busy protecting them from R. Kelly that he wasn’t able to pay attention to a young Beyonce getting attention from a much older Jay-Z. They said Jay was no different from Kelly, that the only difference is that he kept his relationship with Beyonce under wraps and waited until she was 18. (This isn’t confirmed though}.

New Study says ‘people over the age of 65 share fake news stories on Facebook more than any other age group’

According to a study published on Wednesday in Science Advances journal, ‘people over 65 shared nearly seven times as many articles from fake news domains as the youngest age group’.

 

“No other demographic characteristic seems to have a consistent effect on sharing fake news, making our age finding that much more notable,” authors Andrew Guess, Jonathan Nagler and Joshua Tucker wrote.

 

The study relied on users’ Facebook sharing history instead of asking them to self-report that history. Using online polling firm YouGov, it asked respondents to provide access to parts of their Facebook profiles, including timeline posts and external links. Those shared links were then compared with a list of fake news domains compiled by BuzzFeed News.

 

The study authors additionally removed partisan and hyperpartisan domains such as Breitbart News to focus solely on sites that produced intentionally or systematically false news stories. The resulting list of fake news domains includes sites such as abcnews.com.co, The Denver Guardian, and Ending the Fed sites that wrote false stories that Pope Francis had endorsed Trump or that Hillary Clinton sold weapons to ISIS, for example.

 

Digital media literacy training has largely focused on teaching these skills to young people, but this study suggests older folks may be more in need of it.

Andy Murray announces in emotional interview that he will retire from Tennis this year

Andy Murray has announced that he will retire after this year’s Wimbledon, or maybe sooner than that, following a hip injury that has limited him since June 2016.

Murray, 31, who earned a reputation as one of the hardest-working players of his generation, said that his decision to end his playing career in 2019 had come during his off-season training in December 2018.

 

 

Murray said in an emotional news conference in Melbourne on Friday:

I spoke to my team, and I told them, ‘I cannot keep doing this.

I needed to have an end point because I was sort of playing with no idea when the pain was going to stop. I felt like making that decision.

I said to my team, ‘Look, I think I can get through this until Wimbledon.’ That’s where I would like to stop playing. But I am also not certain I am able to do that.

Murray became the first British male singles champion at a Grand Slam tournament in 76 years when he won the United States Open in 2012. He won Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016 and won Olympic gold medals in singles in 2012 and 2016. Murray reached the ATP’s No. 1 ranking for the first time at the end of the 2016 season, holding on to it through Wimbledon the next year, according to The New York Times.

The weight of his decision to retire was obvious in his news conference on Friday, when he broke down after he was asked: “How are you feeling, and how is the hip injury?”

“Yeah, not great,” Murray said, his voice shaking. He then sighed and let his emotions flood in, and left the interview room for about three minutes to compose himself..

 

 

When he returened he continued, saying:

Yeah, not feeling good/ Obviously, I’ve been struggling for a long time. I have been in a lot of pain. Well, it’s been probably about 20 months now.

I have pretty much done everything that I could to try and get my hip feeling better, and it hasn’t helped loads. I’m in a better place than I was six months ago but still in a lot of pain. Yeah, it has been tough.

Murray said he still planned to play at the Australian Open against Roberto Bautista Agut.

Murray, who had hip surgery last January and had seen his Melbourne-based surgeon on Thursday, said that although the operation had helped, it had not alleviated his pain, which he said had been the “driving factor” in his decision.

He said:

 

I can still play to a level — not a level that I’m happy playing at.

It’s not just that: The pain is too much, really. I don’t want to continue playing that way. I think I have tried pretty much everything I could to get it right, and that hasn’t worked.

 

Asked if the Australian Open could be his last tournament, Murray paused and wiped away tears again.

He said:

 

There’s a chance of that, for sure. Yeah, like I said, I am not sure I am able to play through the pain for another four or five months.

Authorities in Las Vegas have reportedly issued a warrant to obtain Cristiano Ronaldo’s DNA after claims he raped a woman in the US city nine years ago.

Recall 34-year-old teacher Kathryn Mayorga, who was an aspiring model at the time of the alleged assault, claims that the Juventus forward raped her in a bathroom at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in the early hours of June 13, 2009.

Now the Wall Street Journal is reporting that authorities want to check his DNA against that of some found on the dress of Ms. Mayorga.

The newspaper claims authorities have sent a warrant to the Italian courts in the hopes of being allowed to carry out the procedure. It cites a ‘law-enforcement official with knowledge of the case’ who claims a key piece of evidence in the investigation is the dress. And that some DNA other than Ms. Mayorga’s was found on it.

NBA star, Nick Young is currently being investigated for robbery and allegedly punching a man in his testicles in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the  LAPD received a call on Friday from a man claiming he was assaulted by Young when he tried to take his photo at a popular L.A. car wash.

 

The alleged victim is said to have recognized the former Lakers star and wanted a photo with him.  Young reportedly declined, but the fan went ahead and took a picture of him, which got Young pissed and he attacked him by punching his testicles before taking his phone along with him.

The cops took a report and are currently investigating the case against Young.

Former American football star-turned baseball player, Tim Tebow, 33, is getting married to Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

Tebow who confirmed their relationship last year took to Instagram this evening to announce his engagement to the South African beauty queen.

“@demileighnp Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world. You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” Tebow, 31, posted on Instagram, along with photos of their proposal.

Nel-Peters, 23, also shared an emotional post about their engagement, writing, “Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you! @timtebow ???.”

President Buhari on Wednesday called on the media in the country to make an extra effort to report actual and reliable information and avoid fake news stories.

 

Speaking during a courtesy call by Jamie Angus, the Executive Director of the BBC World Service at the State House in Abuja, President Buhari said facts must form the basis of all news reports.

 

He congratulated the BBC for the high reputation they earned through difficult times, such as the period of the Nigerian civil war. The President noted that by devoting time and resources to research into their stories before going public with them, “the BBC has earned a reputation for being an impartial news medium that is relied upon by the people for correct information about events and happenings.”

 

He commended their sacrifices in conveying news and information to the vast communities in Hausa across the Sahel region, and their recent commencement of broadcasts, from Nigeria, of news and programming in Igbo, Yoruba and Pidgin. The BBC team explained their plans for coverage of the upcoming elections in the country, including state gubernatorial debates.

Big Brother Naija to hold after 2019 elections and inaugurations

The last two editions of Big Brother Naija reality show kicked off in January, but for some reason there’s been an unusual silence about the show this year.

 

LIB can now confirm that the show has been put on hold due to the forthcoming general elections in February.

 

A highly placed source at Payporte (the official sponsors of the reality show) confirmed to LIB that, ‘Big Brother will still hold but because its a political year, we can’t really control to what extent what the housemates will say in the house and we dont want it to become a tool that will heat up the polity’.

 

 

The source went on to add that, ‘the show itself normally gets twisted so we don’t want to mix it up with politics in anyway. Its supposed to be entertaining, we wouldn’t want it to be divisive in anyway. If you notice, no religious activity gets discussed in the house too, if you want to pray you can pray, we don’t want anyone to be forced to do it or divide Nigerians along those lines. So after the elections and inaugurations, it’ll happen’.

 

The last edition of the show kicked off on January 28, 2018 and wrapped up in April with Miracle Ikechukwu emerging winner of the hotly contested reality show.
