Popular Musician Davido Reveals that He Never Had Thirty Billion.

Nigerian musician, Davido has confessed that he never had N30 billion which he sang about in his song.

Recall that many had thought Davido was stupendously rich considering the extravagant lifestyle he lives and the kind of wealth he flaunts.

Well, Davido has come out to confess that he has never had that much money. He made this confession on twitter when one of his fans asked him to do giveaway.

The father of three replied saying he does not have money now. When asked if his 30 billion had finished, Davido replied saying he never had it.

The reality star who is best friends with Khloe Kardashian announced on Instagram hours ago that she gave birth on March 14.

Haqq first announced in September 2019 that she was expecting a child with ex-boyfriend O.T Genasis.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively donate 1 Million Dollars to food banks amid Coronavirus

Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively have donated $1 Million to food banks amid Coronavirus crisis.

 

The Deadpool star, 43, and the Gossip Girl actress, 32, made the announcement via Instagram. Reynolds said their donation will go to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada, two organizations aiding those most at risk from the coronavirus pandemic.

 

He wrote on IG: “Covid-19 has brutally impacted older adults and low income families. Blake and I are donating $1 million to be split between Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. If you can give, these orgs need our help.”

 

“Take care of your bodies and hearts. Leave room for joy. Call someone who’s isolated and might need connection.”

Idris Elba has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The actor took to social media on Monday to share the health news with his fans. Along with a video message, Elba wrote, “This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing No panic.”

“Hey, what’s up guys? So this morning I got some test results back for Coronavirus and it came back positive,” Elba said in his video message. “Yep. And it sucks. Listen, I’m doing OK. Sabrina hasn’t been tested and she’s doing okay. I didn’t have any symptoms. I got tested because I realized I was exposed to someone who had also tested positive. I found out last Friday that they were tested positive, I quarantined myself and got tested immediately and got the results back today.”

“Look, this is serious, you know? Now’s the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands. Beyond that, there are people out there who aren’t showing symptoms and that can easily spread it,” Elba continued. “So now’s a real time to be really vigilant about washing your hands, keeping your distance okay? We’ve told our families, they’re very supportive.”

“There’s so many people whose lives have been affected from those who lost people they love to people that don’t even have it and lost their livelihoods. This is real, alright? I just wanted to share my news with you guys and I will keep you updated as how I’m doing, so far we’re feeling OK,” Elba concluded his post. “Alright, man. Stay positive and don’t freak out.”

GBESE!!! Tony Tetuila Sues Wizkid And DJ Tunez Over Copyright Infringement

Fast-rising DJ Tunez and Afrobeat Star Wizkid are being sued by musical Veterans Tic Tac and Tony Tetuila for copyright infringement and unauthorised use of intellectual property.

The suit is as regards the song “Gbese” by Dj Tunez and Wizkid which was said to have infringed on the copyright of the hit song “Fe Fe Ne Fe” by Tic Tac and Tony Tetuila without authorisation from Tony Tetuilla and Tic Tac.

As at the time of this report Wizkid’s camp hasn’t responded to the charges raised against them and the case is now lodged at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi.

Xenophobia: South African artists petition minister of arts and culture kicking against inclusion of Burna Boy at the ‘Africa Unite’ concert

Some musicians in South Africa under the aegis of Tshwane Collective have sent a petition to the minister of arts and culture, kicking against the inclusion of Burna Boy in the ‘Africa Unite’ concert scheduled for 23 and 24 November.

 

The Africans Unite concerts, a response to recent xenophobia in the country is organised by Play Network Africa, based in Nigeria, in partnership with Phambili Media SA and appears to enjoy the support of South Africa’s department of arts and culture.

 

It will feature, along with Burna Boy, artistes such as Kwesa and Jidenna. The first concert will hold at Hillcrest Quarry in Cape Town on 23 November and the second at Sun Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.

 

However, the Tshwane Collective questioned the exclusion of local artists and Burna Boy’s invitation to perform at the concert, accusing the African Giant of inciting hatred against South Africa, in the wake of the xenophobic attacks.

“Whoever may have deemed that the country needs a PR exercise of this nature would have done so largely as a result of the callous, misleading and unwarranted incitement by this very artist. Not only did he spread falsehoods through his extensive platform, he literally incited violence and hate.

He further promised to inflict his own violence on locals before giving your government an ultimatum which you seem to have received and succumbed to”, the group said in the letter to Nathi Mthethwa, minister of art and culture.

The department of culture has however distanced itself from the concert and said that it’s logo had been used “erroneously” on posters advertising the event, Times Live reported.

“The Department of Sports, Arts and Culture wishes to dispel the untrue information currently being spread on social media, that it is funding the Africans Unite Concert featuring the artist known as Burna Boy. It is unfortunate that the department’s logo was erroneously used on the poster advertising the event,” spokesperson Asanda Magaqa told TshisaLIVE.

 

Asanda said that the department had not allocated or granted funding for the event. “The department wishes to reiterate that it has not allocated or granted any funding to the event in question and any reports to the contrary are entirely false.”
